Compontens for Bearing Systems

In addition to complete bearing systems, we also offer our customers components for self-construction of bearing systems. Among these are:

Radial fixed-segment bearings

W131 (Floating bearing without collar)
W132 (Loss-reduced bearing without collar)
W133 (Floating bearing with double-sided thrust collar)
W134(Floating bearing with double-sided thrust collar)
W136(Floating bearing with single-sided thrust collar)
W137(Floating bearing with single-sided thrust collar)

These components are produced for shaft diameters ranging from 90 to 710 mm. They can be adapted to meet the customer's specifications over a wide range, e.g.:

  • Implementations with or without start-up hydrostatics
  • Profiling(e.g. Four lobe bearing, offset bearing, cylindrical bearing)
  • Instrumentation and mounting position
  • Special demands towards the applied babbitt type
  • Other dimensions

Radial tilting-pad bearings (RKS-Bearings)

W140 (four-pad radial tilting-pad bearing)
W141(five-pad radial tilting-pad bearing)

These radial tilting-pad bearings with four or five segments are produced for shaft diameters ranging from 50 to 355 mm. They have the following advantages:

  • Easy to mount
  • Stable operating charateristics for a wide range of loads and speeds
  • Suited for very high rotary and circumferential speeds
  • Properties can be varied over a wide range through choice of lubrication (flooded or direct lubrication), clearance and clearance ratio, sealings and offset
  • Ratio of length and diameter: 1, 0,7 and 0,4 as standards, others possible
  • Available with four or five segments
  • Large bearings available with axial alignment compensation

Axial tilting-pad bearings

Typ WAfor segment diameters ranging from Ø 20 to Ø 630 mm
Typ WKfor segment sizes ranging from 90 to 710 mm
Typ WDfor segment diameters ranging from Ø 16 to Ø 315 mm
Typ GTW-970for inner diameter ranging from 130 to 770 mm

These components are adapted to the customer's specifications, e.g.:

  • Implementations with or without start-up hydrostatics
  • Instrumentation
  • Special demands concerning the applied bab
