Production Technologies

For production of our innovative journal bearings we apply modern manufacturing technology and processes. Due to the manifold challenges in this area, we are going to focus on the manufaturing technology applied to our core products.

Coating technology

The foundation of our coating process is the alloyage of tin to a steel body. This is initiated by dip-tinning of a bearing body of a maximum diameter of 1500 mm prepared by a special treatment.
Babbitt is then applied on to this intermediate layer by static or centrifugal casting or by a welding treatment.
The applied babbitt based on lead or tin are chosen according to our own standards or the customer's specifications.

Machining

Machining is the core process of our mechanial workshop. We have advanced basic technologies such as turning, milling or grinding to meet the specific requirements of our products
